Miscellaneous Stuff

*Called the coach from Marmaduke this morning and confirmed the games for tonight. Come ready to play!

*5th grade undefeated! 5th grade had their last conference game Tuesday night against Bay. We play Caraway this Saturday but they don't have a 5th grade team. So, 5th grade is officially 10-0 in the conference.

*ASU game against Denver on Sunday, Feb. 22nd at 2:00. Hopefully, everyone got a note at the game Tuesday. I bought tickets for all 37 girls so we can attend the game on Feb. 22nd. Parents, you can purchase tickets at the ASU box office or order on-line. (cheaper at the box office...no mailing fee.) We are seated in section RR. My experience at ASU women's games is once you're in the building and the game starts you can migrate down a little lower. They never sell-out so there should be alot of empty seats. So, don't worry about not being able to sit with your child...shouldn't be a problem. Tickets about $6.00 for upper and $8.00 for lower. Also, we'll give more info. as the game approaches.

*End of the year banquet coming sometime in February. Athletes in all 3 grades and parents will be invited. Awards, slideshow, stuff like that. Still working on details.

*Coaches meeting on Sunday, Jan. 25th at 3:00 to determine seeds and make brackets. I'll post that info. asap. Here's my guess...4th grade #1 (undefeated if we win at caraway saturday)...5th grade #1 seed...6th grade #3 seed (9-3 if we win saturday at caraway).

*Surprise coming late next week. That's all I'm saying.

*4th game for Jan. 10th was cancelled and I'm leaving the ball in their hands. If they call to reschedule we'll do it but I'm not taking the lead.

*Same with Rivercrest. We play them on the 24th at home and we might go to their place but again...leaving it in their hands. It's only fair to play 1 at our place and 1 at their place.
